Instant Booking is intended only for guests who live outside the Toronto area. ❤ Dogs are welcome, however our family has a cat allergy. Deposit required for pets. ❤ If you open it, close it. If you borrow it, return it. If you turn it on, turn it off. if you break it, fix it. If you use it, take care of it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back. ❤ Please remove shoes inside the house. ❤ Use make-up remover, not the bath towels as they stain easily.

Neighborhood

The Junction Triangle is a quiet residential pocket of Toronto's west end, wrapped on three sides by old rail lines and threaded by the West Toronto Railpath, a car free walking and cycling trail. A former industrial area, it has grown into one of the city's better eating and drinking neighbourhoods without losing its low rise, leafy feel. Geary Avenue's breweries and pasta counters, the Bloordale strip on Bloor West, MOCA on Sterling Road and the shops and restaurants of Dundas West are all a short walk or a few minutes' drive away. Perth Square Park and Campbell Park are both within a ten minute walk, and High Park is about ten minutes by car.

Guest Access

You have the entire upper unit of the house: the full main floor, the second floor with all three bedrooms and the bathroom, the private back garden, and the garage off the rear laneway. The basement is a separate self-contained apartment with its own long term resident and is not part of your booking. You will not share any living space. The rear vestibule between the garden and the house is shared as a passage only, which is why that door is left unlocked. The closet under the stairs is kept locked for the owners' storage and for our cleaning supplies.

Find us

Lansdowne Station on Line 2 is about a 15 minute walk south, for a direct run into downtown. The 168 Symington bus stops on the street outside and connects to Dundas West Station. Bloor GO and UP Express station is about a 15 minute walk. The UP Express reaches Pearson Airport in roughly 15 minutes and Union Station in about 12. The West Toronto Railpath runs through the neighbourhood for walking and cycling, and Bike Share Toronto docks are scattered around the area. Uber and Lyft are readily available. Parking is a private garage off the rear laneway, reached by driving down the alley behind the house. The garage door is marked 407 in small letters. Street parking on Symington is permit only.
